Republicans ripped into President Obama on Thursday in reaction to a media report that he personally lobbied senators to vote against a GOP measure that would approve the Keystone XL oil pipeline. But the White House said the president opposes ramming through a pipeline without a proper review, and Democrats came to Obama's defense.
